Looking for inspiration or tips? Because I've got both!
Let's see... How about:
Think of a place or theme, and without directly using it, just mess about with beats and melodies whilst keeping the thing in your mind. I find this inspires me (i.e. you if you try it) captures the essence better than just using the thing as inspiration on a purposely-started track.
Also, I have been listening to The 14th Album whilst playing puzzle games before sleep, so I'd like to hear something similar to Falling Into The Sky. : )
